Day: Arrival in Vienna
Arrival on your own and check in to your Hotel. In the evening enjoy a
Viennese evening at a Heuriger in Grinzing (wine tavern) while listening
to Viennese music. (B, D)

2nd Day: Vienna
we will enjoy a 1⁄2 Day city sightseeing tour (B): the famous Ringstrasse
lined with the Opera, the Hofburg, Town Hall, Parliament, the Burg Theater
and many more. Of course we will also see the 'Heart of Vienna' or St.
Stephen's Cathedral, affectionately nicknamed 'Steffl' by the Viennese.
We also visit Schoenbrunn Palace. (B)

3rd Day: Wachau-the
romantic Danube Valley
A full-day excursion, which will show you
the beauty of the Wachau. Through this romantic scenery full of history
and legends the Danube winds his way past charming old villages and steep
vineyards. |

The old castles tell us about the former importance
of this trade- and trafficway, one of them -Dürnstein- especially
famous, because here King Richard Lionheart was imprisoned, while waiting
for his ransom to arrive from England, raised by his true minstrel Blondel.
During a romantic boat-trip the history comes alive. The heart of the
Wachau is the old vine-merchants town Krems. To complete this day of highlights
you will visit Melk, the "Cradle of Austria" , the magnificent
Benedictine Abbey, a pearl of the Austrian Baroque. Possibility for lunch
in the Abbey Restaurant at Melk. The tour finishes at the Opera House.

The boat ride takes place from April 8th to October 30th 2005. In the
winter season we invite you for lunch. (B)

4th Day: Departure Vienna
After breakfast you will make your own departure. (B)
