1st Day: Depart the U.S.A.

2nd Day: Arrive in Munich
We arrive in Munich in the morning and transfer directly to our hotel. The afternoon will be at leisure. Tonight we will enjoy typical Bavarian ‘Gemütlichkeit’ during the welcome dinner.

3rd Day: Munich
After Breakfast we will enjoy a half day sightseeing tour, including an outside visit of Nymphenburg Palace as well as the famous Glockenspiel at the Munich Rathaus. Afternoon will be at leisure for individual activities. (B)

4th Day: Munich - Salzburg
Today we depart for Oberammergau, famous for the Passion Play which takes place every ten years, next one is in 2020. In the afternoon we continue our journey to Salzburg. Birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.(B, D)

5th Day: Salzburg - Vienna
In the Morning we will enjoy a walking tour through the breath taking old town. After lunch then we continue through the lake district of Austria called the ‘Salzkammergut’ to Vienna. (B, D)

6th Day: Vienna
Our Sightseeing today of Vienna includes the famous Ringstrasse lined with the Opera House, the Hofburg, Town Hall Parliament, the Burgtheater, and many more. One of the highlights will be a visit to the heart of Vienna, or St. Stephen’s Cathedral, affectionately named ‘Steffl’ by the Viennese. We also see Schönbrunn Palace. In the evening we join the natives in one of the quaint restaurants of Grinzing, Nussdorf or Sievering and drink some home-groin wines and sing some Viennese songs. (B, D)

7th Day: Vienna to Venice
Travelling south through the Styrian and Carinthian districts of Austria, we cross into Italy shortly after Villach. Then we continue via Udine to Venice. (B)

8th Day: Venice
The sightseeing of Venice includes St.Mark’s Basilica, Doge Palace, the church of Santa Maria della Salute, Bridge of Sighs and more. It will be a memorable pleasure to do as all tourists do: feed the pigeons on St.Mark’s Square; watch a glassblower create magnificent glass objects. (B)

9th Day: Venice – Florence
Today we travel via Padua and the district of Emila Romana to Florence. (B, D)

10th Day: Florence
The sightseeing tour of this unique city will include such treasures as the Cathedral of Florence, the Baptistery with the ‘Gates of Paradise’ by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the church of Santa Croce. Furthermore we will visit the Uffizi Galleries, one of the world’s outstanding art collections. (B,)

11th Day: Florence – Milan
Along the Autostrada we travel via Bologna to the historic city of Milan. (B, D)

12th Day: Milan – Lucerne
Via Como and Chiasso we travel north into Switzerland, passing through Bellinzona and the St.Gotthard Tunnel, proceeding along the famous Axenstrasse to Lucerne. (B, D)

13th Day: Lucerne
Weather permitting we ascend to the top of the majestic Mt. Pilatus (optional). Balance of the day is at leisure. (B, D)

14th Day: Lucerne – Munich
After breakfast we depart Lucerne for Munich travelling via Zurich, St.Gallen and Lindau. (B, D)

15th Day: Depart Munich – Arrive U.S.A.
Sadly we say “Auf Wiedersehen” as we Board our jet for a swift flight across the Atlantic. We arrive in the U.S.A. on the same day. (B)
