Oberammergau Tours® and C.L.Hoechner – Overseas Tours, Inc.
Offer their outstanding experience and vouch that every detail has been carefully considered in producing tours, which will be memorable for a lifetime.
A small dash of Philosophy:
Remember that you are going to foreign and different lands. Things will be strange. What we may take for granted here may be the unusual there. Your mental attitude toward these differences is very important and an acceptance of them will make your travel much more enjoyable.
Bookings:
Your travel agent may also make your booking. He knows the value of these tours and will handle all reservations, bookings and correspondence efficiently; and he will give you all additional help and planning for your vacation.
Deposits:
A deposit of $100.00 should be made immediately to hold your reservation. All purchases of opera-, concert- or other tickets, not included in tour package, are final and non refundable.
Final Payment:
Final Payment is due 8 weeks prior to your Departure.
Form of Payment:
We accept all private checks or cashiers checks. Credit card information is only for extra reservations of concert-, opera tickets or other desired arrangements.
Tour Rates:
All rates are quoted in US$. Due to currency fluctuations rates may change.
Passports:
All tour members must be in possession of a valid passport.
Hotel accommodations:
The tour price is based on twin-bedded rooms with private facilities (bath or shower) in first class and or selected hotels.
Land Arrangements in Europe:
Deluxe motor coaches with air conditioning will be used through out. If it becomes necessary to use train service for certain portions, only first class or highest available service will be used.
Meals:
Meals are included where indicated.
B = breakfast, L=lunch, D= dinner
Sightseeing:
All sightseeing and excursions are included as per itinerary. Your tour manager offers additional optional excursions.
Tour Director:
Services of an experienced, multi-lingual Tour Director from the beginning to the end of the European land tour.
Porters, taxes and local gratuities:
Are all included in the tour price.
NOT INCLUDED!!!!
Beverages, laundry, optional excursions, nor gratuities your tour manager and bus driver, air fares.
Baggage:
European motor coaches do not have the additional luggage space to accommodate more then one large piece of luggage pro person. This does not include carry-ones, which will be the responsibility of the passenger at all times. Therefore please travel as “light” as possible.
Tour and Name changes:
When making name- and tour changes a fee of US$ 25.00 will apply.
Cancellations:
In consideration of the rules and regulations set by hotels and associate operators, the following cancellation schedule will apply per person:
Cancellations 6 months prior to departure a full refund is given, minus a US$25.00 administration fee per person.
Cancellations within 6 months but before 60 days to departure:
US$ 100.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Cancellations within 60 days to 10 days:
80% of the tour price
Within 10 days of departure:
90% of tour price will apply
Cancellation Insurance:
We recommend strongly you purchase cancellation insurance, which can be provided by your local travel agent or through us.
Refunds:
Refunds for unused accommodations and services are limited to the amounts returned by carriers, sightseeing operators and hotels. In connection with group tours, no refunds are made for voluntarily unused transfers and sightseeing arrangements or for accommodations and services pertaining to an absence from the tour for three days and three nights or less. All refunds are based on the basis of actual cost of services not used and not on a per diem basis.
Responsibility:
Oberammergau Tours® and C.L.Hoechner-Overseas Tours, Inc. and other cooperating agents are not responsible for accidents, loss, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from same, government strikes, force majeure, failure of steamers or motors to arrive or depart at scheduled, quarantines, disturbances, restrictions or regulations, discontinuance or change in transit or hotel services, and other causes over which we have no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the passengers. We act only as agents for the owners in engaging porters and transfer companies to handle baggage, or deal with it in any matter. All services are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which these services are rendered.
