Biography
Claudia Hoechner

Christian Hoechner was born in Homestead, Florida on August 7th 1961,
as son of Carl L. Hoechner founder of Oberammergau Tours.

He started his professional carrer in 1980, working part time and helping his father in the 1980 Passion Play.

1981 – 84  he studied tourism as an apprentice working for the Lufthansa owned Euro Lloyd Travel Agency.
After successfully passing the exam as a diplom travel agent (Reiseverkehrskaufmann), he started in March preparing the 1984 Passion Play in the Oberammergau Office.
From 1990 on Christian was in charge of all European operations stationed in Unterammergau Germany.

Since the Death of Carl L. Hoechner, in August of 2000, Christian runs the organization of Oberammergau Tours on both sides of the Atlantic.

Claudia Hoechner was born in Vienna/Austria
on Feb 16, 1965
Right after Gymnasium she studied languages at the University of Vienna.

She started her career in tourism at the Austrian Nation Travel Agency in 1989 where she took over the department of group administration. Later on she switched into the department of Incentives and Congresses.
During this period she booked a French group for the Passion Play 2000 at OBERAMMERGAU TOURS.  Right after their trip they send a letter in which they explained their gratitude of enjoying such a wonderful and perfectly organized trip.

Starting from 2006 she worked for OBERAMMERGAU TOURS and initiated offering cruise trips all over the world.

Since 2007 she is happily married with Christian Hoechner (Owner of OBERAMMERGAU TOURS/C.L.HOECHNER OVERSEAS TOURS).
They have a daughter, called Katrina Monica.
