1^st Day: Departure U.S.A

2^nd Day: Arrive Munich
We arrive in Munich and transfer to our hotel. The afternoon will be at leisure to explore the city center. In the evening we will attend a traditional dinner and enjoy typical Bavarian “Gemütlichkeit”. (D)

3^rd Day: Munich – Oberammergau
At 9:30 a.m. we depart for our morning sightseeing tour of Munich including the outside visit of Nymphenburg Palace. After lunch (not included) we stroll through the famous Christmas market at the Marienplatz. In the late afternoon we continue on to Oberammergau and check in at the hotel. Evening on our own. (B)

4^th Day: Oberammergau
The morning we attend the performance of the quartet of trumpets in front of the church of St. Peter and Paul. Right after we can join one of the optional tours like e.g. a ride in a horse drawn carriage. Then the highlight of the day will be the Christmas market of Oberammergau where we find many Bavarian handcrafts. (B)

5^th Day: Departure Oberammergau – Salzburg
We leave Oberammergau in the morning and stopp at Linderhof Palace, one of the residences of King Ludwig II. After the indoor visit we continue our trip to Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening we all get together for dinner. (B, D)

6^th Day: Salzburg
9.30 a.m. Today we enjoy a half day sightseeing tour with a walk through Salzburg. After your lunch (not included) at a typical restaurant in the old town we will stroll to one of the romantic Christmas Markets where you can drink hot wine „Gluehwein“. (B)

7^th Day: Salzburg – Freising
9.00 a.m. We return to Bavaria via the "autobahn" along the Lake Chiemsee. After departure we enjoy visiting the „Adventmarkt“ of Freising showing a live nativity scene, glassblowing, spinning of wool and other attractions. Before we say goodbye we get together for a farewell dinner. (B, D)

8^th Day: Departure Munich
After breakfast we will transfer to the airport for a flight back home. (B)
