BMW Alpine Route on your Motorbike
Day 1. Departure from the U.S.A.
Day 2. Arrival in Munich: After we clear customs we will meet our guide and transfer to our Hotel as well as pick up our bikes for the tour. A welcome dinner party is set for the evening where we will meet all our fellow riders as well as discuss the whole route. (D)
Day 3. Kitzbühel: after a big breakfast, we will get on our bikes and motor to Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Krün, Vorderriss and the Achen- & Gerlos Pass to Kitzbühel. (B)
Day 4. Kitzbühel: The plan for today is to explore the famous Salzkammergut with its breathtaking scenery and climb the highest pass in Austria the Großglockner Hochalpenstrasse. (B)
Day 5. Lana/ Meran: Via Mittersil, Stallersattel, Cortina D’Ampezzo we make our way throu the Italian Dolomites. The next two evenings we will spend in Lana a very fine little town in South Tyrol close to Meran. (B)
Day 6. Lana/ Meran: Our goal for today will be making as many km’s as possible in the Swiss alps. (B)
Day 7. Munich: In the morning we’ll leave for the most famous pass the Timmelsjoch and on to Imst, Reute, back to Munich. (B)
Day 8. Munich: in the afternoon we have to return our bikes and get ready for our return back to the US. In the evening we will have a farewell party. (B, D)
